Within the scope of the "I Write, Therefore I Am - Writer's Workshop Project" prepared by the General Directorate of Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans of the Ministry of Family and Social Services, writing training will be given to the children of martyrs and veterans.
The project, which will be implemented with the cooperation of the General Directorate of Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans and Gazi University, covers high school students. The aim of the project is to develop the ability of children of martyrs and veterans, who are interested in history and literature, to express their feelings and thoughts, and to encourage them to read and write.
The topics of the training, which will be provided with technical infrastructure and support by Gazi University Distance Education and Research Center, were determined as "Writing Techniques, Writing Strategies, Vocabulary Development Techniques Turkish Grammar".
Gazi Education Faculty Turkish and Social Sciences Education Turkish Education Department faculty members Prof. Dr. Gıyasettin Aktaş, Assoc. Dr. Basak Uysal, Assoc. Dr. Ülken Sen and Dr. Instructor The training, in which its member Özlem Cömert Bayrak will explain the topics, will be held online on September 8-9, 2022.
A total of 859 children will benefit from the project.
