Winter Sports Schools Started in Bursa

Thanks to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Winter Sports Schools, children will enjoy sports to the fullest in the winter period.

Bringing children together with sports in many branches, 'in facilities equipped with each other', the Metropolitan Municipality has started the training of 2022-2023 Winter Sports Schools. Organized under the coordination of the Youth and Sports Services Department and in cooperation with the Metropolitan Belediyespor Club, the 2022-2023 Winter Sports Schools aim to bring together nearly 20 thousand children with sports, as it does every year.

Children between the ages of 20 and 2022 will receive training in 4 branches at the modern facilities of the Metropolitan Municipality at the Winter Sports Schools to be held between September 2023, 4 and June 16, 13. Winter sports will be held in swimming, archery, court tennis, boxing, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, chess, taekwondo, table tennis, wrestling, karate and judo in 3 sports complexes, 2 sports facilities, 5 swimming pools and 16 'branch specific' gyms. The basic studies of the schools will be carried out by a staff of expert trainers.

Swimming in Winter Sports Schools will be held in Fethiye, Şahin Başol, Gürsu, Kestel and Mihraplı Women's Swimming Pools. The trainings will last for 9 semesters in total and will be given in 4-week periods, on Saturdays and Sundays, mixed between boys and girls.
