Faruk Çelik (born January 17, 1956; Yusufeli) is a Turkish politician, he served in the government as Turkey's labor and social security minister between 2011-2015 and as the minister of food, agriculture and livestock between 2015-2017.

He was born on January 17, 1956 in Yusufeli, Artvin, as the child of Faruk Çelik Yaşar and Hedise Yaşar. His family moved from Artvin to Bursa at a young age. Çelik, who started working as a child worker from childhood, graduated from Bursa Uludağ University. Then, he studied business administration for two years at Kocaeli Business Institute affiliated to Yıldız Technical University. Çelik, who has a four-year high school teaching background, also dealt with trade. He ran a local newspaper for two years and worked as a columnist.

He served as the provincial chairman of the Welfare Party and the vice-chairman of the Virtue Party. He entered the parliament for the first time in the 1999 Turkish general elections as a Bursa deputy from the Virtue Party. He joined the Justice and Development Party in 2001 and became a member of the Founders Board. He entered the parliament as a Bursa deputy in the 2002 and 2007 Turkish general elections, and as a Şanlıurfa deputy in the 2011 and November 2015 Turkish general elections.

He served as AK Party Group Deputy Chairman between 2002 and 2007. In the cabinet reshuffle made on May 1, 2009, he was appointed as the Minister of State for Religious Affairs. He continued this duty until 6 July 2011. Between 2007–2009 and 2011–2015, he took part as the Minister of Labor and Social Security in the governments established by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ahmet Davutoğlu.

After the AK Party's victory in the November 2015 Turkish general elections, he took part in the 64th Turkish Government established by Ahmet Davutoğlu on 24 November 2015 as the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. Çelik dismissed many general managers and bureaucrats shortly after taking office. Celik, who took over the task from Kutbettin Arzu, stated that they aim for 153 billion dollars in agricultural output. After Davutoğlu's resignation, he was reassigned to the same post in the 65th Turkish Government established by Binali Yıldırım. In the cabinet reshuffle made on 19. July 2017, Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba transferred the task.

While studying at Acıbadem University, Faruk Çelik's daughter Zeynep transferred to Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, which is one of the best faculties in Turkey and preferred by only the first thousand students in the university entrance exam. It has been claimed that the lateral transfer conditions were changed although she did not meet the required conditions, and thus Zeynep Çelik, whose lateral transfer application was rejected before, was allowed to transfer.
