The trekkers, who set off from the village of Körez, walked 28 kilometers in two days and reached Alaşehir via Kula. Alaşehir Mayor Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu and citizens welcomed the marchers in Killik village.

As part of the events organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Izmir, the Zafer Caravan, which set off from Afyon Kocatepe, is getting closer to the goal step by step. Celebrating the centennial of Kula's liberation from enemy occupation, together with the townspeople, the convoy visited the Killik Martyrs' Cemetery before the Alaşehir stage. Alaşehir Mayor Ahmet Öküzcüoğlu and local people welcomed the hikers who completed the Afyon, Kütahya and Uşak stages in Killik village of Manisa. Pancakes, ayran, iced lemonade and Alaşehir grapes were served to the marchers.
