Railway and Freight Ramp to be Constructed to Havza OIZ Will Increase Exports

Havza Mayor Sebahattin Özdemir said that the railway line and ramp to be built in the district will increase exports.

During the visit, Havza District Governor Cengiz Nayman and Havza Mayor Sebahattin Özdemir gave information to TCDD Tasimacilik A.Ş.

Havza District Governor Cengiz Nayman stated that Havza OIZ is growing rapidly and this growth will accelerate once the expansion works are completed; “The railway and loading ramp, which will strengthen the hand of our enterprises, which are currently producing in OIZ, will also make Havza OSB more attractive. It is very important that the investment, which will make a great contribution to the country's economy, is realized as soon as possible.” Said.

Havza Mayor Sebahattin Özdemir pointed out that the amount of products shipped in Havza OIZ is increasing day by day; “Two of our companies, which are currently in production, are exporting. With the railway line and loading ramp to be built here, it will be easier to transport the products produced in Havza OSB to Samsun and from there to abroad and into the country. With the work to be done, Havza OIZ investors will offer much more opportunities. In addition, an important contribution will be made to the solution of the employment problem in our region. "said.

At the end of the visit, Havza District Governor Cengiz Nayman and Havza Mayor Sebahattin Özdemir presented a samovar to TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş General Manager Ufuk Yalçın in memory of the visit.
