What we have done for 20 years is the guarantee of what we will do.”

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu made a statement about the Pendik-Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport metro line. Stating that there are 7 metro lines undertaken by the ministry throughout Istanbul, and that the works on these lines continue on a 7/24 basis, Karaismailoğlu stated that they will put the Pendik-Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro line into the service of Istanbulites on October 2, with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Emphasizing that Sabiha Gökçen Airport and the D100, especially in Pendik, the neighborhoods with the intense population movement in Pendik will be brought together with the metro, Karaismailoğlu noted that with this line, the traffic in Istanbul will be relieved and they will bring the Şeyhli, Yayalar, Fevzi Çakmak and Kurtköy neighborhoods together with the metro comfort. .
