UPS Europe Region Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) has increased the capacity of its new supply chain solutions facility, which it opened in Roermond, the Netherlands last March.
The new 85.000 m² building added to the existing 17.000 m² campus will also house UPS's first Innovation Center in Europe. Thus, the city of Roermond will become a technology hub to benefit from its strategic location with connections to the airports and seaports of Amsterdam, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Liège (Belgium) and Cologne (Germany).
Susanne Klingler-Werner, recently appointed as UPS Europe Region Director of Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), said: “We are well positioned to capitalize on the vast opportunities ahead. “As our customers' businesses are transformed by market demands, we bring together the latest innovative automation technologies and digital tools to create new, sustainable solutions for them and increase supply chain flexibility.”
