Daimler Truck Introduces Its Future Vision at the 2022 IAA Commercial Vehicles Fair

Daimler Truck exhibits its innovative solutions that shed light on the future, as well as truck models, at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Fair, which will host its visitors in Hannover, Germany, between 19 – 25 September 2022. The brand continues to lead the sector in terms of safety, comfort and environmentalism with the technologies it offers. Daimler Truck exhibited many trucks at the fair, especially Mercedes-Benz Actros L, Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul, Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 and Mercedes-Benz GenH2 models.

Actros L, the flagship of long-distance transport

Produced at the Mercedes-Benz Türk Aksaray Truck Factory, the Mercedes-Benz Actros L sets new standards once again in the premium diesel truck segment. The top version of the Actros series once again underlines Mercedes-Benz Trucks' claim to always focus on the needs of its customers and drivers. The 2,50-meter-wide cabin, available in StreamSpace, BigSpace and GigaSpace versions, reveals the Mercedes-Benz Actros L's claim of high-level driving comfort. The flat floor of the cabin provides a comfortable atmosphere. Improved sound and thermal insulation reduces the noise level and makes the time spent in the cabin even more enjoyable, both while driving and at rest.

Advanced driving support systems contribute to driving safety in the Mercedes-Benz Actros L. In the last quarter of 2022, thanks to the batteries that are aimed to be presented in the Mercedes-Benz eCitaro, longer range will be provided, while the batteries will have a more modular structure.

The world premiere of the new generation Setra ComfortClass and TopClass took place

Premium brand Setra's new generation buses ComfortClass and TopClass models made their world premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Fair. The new generation ComfortClass and TopClass carry the brand's new family face.

In addition to the innovation in the exterior design, the new Setra models offer many technological features. These systems make Setra models safer, more comfortable, more user-friendly, more economical and environmentally friendly. Setra ComfortClass and TopClass are also the first buses in Europe to be equipped with the new Active Driving Assistance 2 (ADA 2) and the emergency brake support system Active Brake Assist 5 (ABA 5), which actively helps to maintain distance and keep the vehicle in the lane.

At the fair, guests had the chance to experience these new buses on the road by participating in the driving experience events of the Setra ComfortClass and TopClass and the Mercedes-Benz Benz Intouro K hybrid model.
