With the end of the fishing ban in the seas, the fishermen in Ordu went to sea. Ordu Governor Tuncay Sonel, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Celal Tezcan, protocol and citizens accompanied the fishermen from Ordu.

With the end of the fishing ban as of September 1, fishermen from Ordu said "vira bismillah". Hours before the fishing ban was lifted, the fishermen prayed for a fruitful fishing season with a ceremony held in Fatsa district with their families. Governor Sonel and Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Tezcan made good wishes for the 2022-2023 season and wished the fishermen to be abundant.

Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Celal Tezcan wished a fruitful, accident-free and trouble-free season and wished the fishermen ease in their business.

Vice President Tezcan said:

“Everyone who has been waiting for this day is quite excited. May all our fishermen have plenty of sustenance. I hope to send you this farewell in a better way next year by having a prosperous, healthy, accident-free and trouble-free season. I wish all our fishermen to be successful by saying vira bismillah.”

Wishing a fruitful season in fish as well as hazelnut and honey, Ordu Governor Tuncay Sonel said, “I hope the season will bring blessings to both our Ordu and our country, and to those who earn their bread from fishing. I hope it is prosperous. We are having a fruitful year in honey production. Mashallah, the gardens are full of hazelnuts. We hope to have such a fruitful season in fish. May God open your path and fortune to all of you," he said.
