President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of Ankara Etlik City Hospital. After the opening, President Erdoğan and Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca toured the hospital.

In his speech at the opening of the Etlik City Hospital, President Erdoğan congratulated the Ministry of Health, contractor companies, everyone from workers to engineers, who contributed to the acquisition of the second city hospital in Ankara.

Expressing that they see Etlik City Hospital as one of the symbols of health revolutions with its 8 separate hospitals and units equipped with the latest technology, Erdoğan said, “With a bed capacity of more than 691 thousand, 4 of which are intensive care units, a thousand polyclinics, 125 operating rooms, laboratories, research centers. and said that this giant hospital with an area of ​​more than 1 million 145 thousand square meters is almost like a health city.

Erdoğan stated that they have solved their problems to a great extent with the White Reform, which they have implemented with the packages they have announced one after the other since March, and that they are always with the health personnel, whose expectations they have met.

We will increase this number to 13 with 2 city hospitals still under construction and 35 city hospitals in the project phase.”

In his speech, President Erdoğan said that Turkey has left the Kovid-19 epidemic behind as a country that provides the highest level of health care, thanks to its existing widespread and strong health infrastructure and the city hospitals they have quickly put into operation.

President Erdoğan emphasized that he believes that every work and service brought to Turkey will constitute an important stage in the construction of a great and powerful Turkey.

Minister Koca spoke at the opening of Ankara Etlik City Hospital

Stating that Ankara Etlik City Hospital consists of 8 hospitals gathered in a single campus, Koca said, “Ankara Etlik City Hospital has a total of 1000 polyclinics, 125 operating rooms, and a bed capacity of 4 thousand 50. Each of these numbers is a source of pride for our nation. Ankara is getting its second largest hospital complex," he said.

Construction of 13 city hospitals continues

Noting that Etlik City Hospital is the 20th city hospital to be put into service, Koca stated that the construction of 13 city hospitals continues.
