Yazkonağı Cave, located within the borders of Yazkonağı District of Ünye district, was built by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. With the initiatives of Mehmet Hilmi Güler, it became the first and only tourism registered cave of the city.

The tourism values ​​of Ordu, which contains natural beauties together with its geographical structure, are introduced to Turkey and even the world with the initiatives of President Güler. With Güler's inauguration, perhaps unknown natural beauties in Ordu are brought to tourism one by one.

Guler, who directs tourism activities in this context, ensured that Yazkonağı Cave, which fascinates those who see it with its natural structure in Ünye, became a tourism registered cave with the approval of the ministry.

PRESIDENT GULER'S INITIATIVES RESULTS

Metropolitan Mayor Dr. The evaluation report of Yazkonağı Cave, which was intended to be brought into tourism with the instructions of Mehmet Hilmi Güler, was sent to the Natural Heritage Preservation Board. Yazkonağı Cave, which adapted to the conditions after the necessary examinations were made on the report, was accepted as a tourism registered cave in the Official Gazette with the approval of the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum.

Thus, Yazkonağı Cave, which was opened for tourism activities, became the first and only tourism registered cave of Ordu.

ATTRACTS VISITORS' INTEREST

It is known that Yazkonagi Cave, which attracts the attention of visitors with its natural beauty, was formed by the expansion of groundwater in the fault rupture gap. There are two waterfalls flowing from a height of 900 meters in the 25-meter-long cave. There are also stalactite stalagmites and domed rooms, which are rarely seen in the cave.
