In the 3rd Electric and Hybrid Driving Week event to be held in Istanbul by the Turkish Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Association (TEHAD) and Electric Hybrid Cars Magazine; special, electric and hybrid vehicle models will be introduced.
The third of the Electric and Hybrid Driving Week, which was held for the first time in Turkey in 2019, will be held in Istanbul on 10-11 September 2022.
The event, in which LeasePlan is the main sponsor and Garanti BBVA is the financial sponsor; Honda, Eurosia Marine Services, SKYWELL, BMW, Renault, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, E-Garage, XEV, MG, ABB, Castrol On, Suzuki, Lexus, Dualtron, Enisolar, CW Energy, G Charge, Gersan, RS It is organized with the support of Automotive Group and Enterprise brands.
At the event where electric and hybrid vehicle models in Turkey will be introduced, domestic projects will be shared with the guests with the participation of universities and entrepreneurs. As part of the event, automobile and technology enthusiasts will have the chance to experience electric vehicles on the track for free.
“We are working to increase awareness of electric mobility”
Emphasizing the importance of September 9, which is celebrated as the day of electric vehicles worldwide every year, TEHAD President Berkan Bayram said, “The industry is evolving towards electric mobility. Every year, we celebrate the day of electric vehicles with a special event to raise awareness in this direction. We created this awareness with more than 5 thousand participants in the first two events of the Electric and Hybrid Driving Week, which we will organize for the third time this year. Last year, visitors made a total of 23 laps with 4 electric and hybrid car models on the track. This year, we aim to increase this figure much higher and increase the excitement.”
