Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality made new arrangements by improving the existing structures of traffic, transportation and stops in order to be more efficient in terms of passenger and vehicle movements around Atatürk City Hospital.
Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail System Department Transportation Coordination Center and Balıkesir Public Transportation A.Ş. (BTT) arranged traffic, transportation and stops around Atatürk City Hospital. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, which makes long-term, comprehensive transportation planning studies and investments for the development of transportation systems and infrastructure, is taking measures to improve the existing structure and use it more efficiently in terms of passenger and vehicle movements.
ONE WAY – TWO WAY ARRANGEMENTS
The traffic regulations made to make traffic circulation more efficient around Atatürk City Hospital are as follows; It was arranged as one-way until the intersection of 213. Street and 211. Street and 172. Street, one-way from 209. Street towards 190th Street, and one-way towards 381th Street of 334. Street.
SIGNALIZED INTERCHANGE REPLACEMENT
Within the scope of traffic regulation, the signaling system at Çayırhisar Junction will be removed. The 25-meter road and roundabout to be built on the New Izmir Road connection will be arranged as a signalized intersection. The new 25-meter road to be opened is planned as two-way.
BUS ROUTES HAVE CHANGED
Within the scope of the works carried out around the Atatürk City Hospital, changes occurred in the routes of the public transportation vehicles that provide transportation to the region.
