The 2022 China Beidou Implementation Conference started in Zhengzhou city. At the conference, experts discussed the large-scale implementation of the Beidou navigation system. With the completion of the global network construction of the Beidou-3 satellite, a total of 45 satellites of the Beidou family are currently in orbit.
China's space and earth infrastructure facilities have relatively full-service capabilities, and the Beidou industrial application system has been basically established. This has had a positive impact on the development of the digital economy in the country.
According to the latest data, the value of China's navigation and geolocation services industry based on the Beidou application reached 2021 billion yuan in 16,9, an increase of 469 percent compared to the previous year. In the past two years, ministries in China have proposed about 80 plans to improve the implementation of the Beidou navigation system.
In addition, the Beidou system provides scheduling, messaging and positioning services to more than 380 thousand terminals in China's electric power systems. By the end of 2021, the Beidou system has been installed on more than 7 million 800 thousand transportation vehicles and more than 400 thousand cargo vehicles in China.
