Good news about high-speed train services came from the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu. Announcing that the number of high-speed train services will increase from 10 to 44 as of September 56 in line with the intense demands from the citizens, Karaismailoğlu emphasized that the passenger capacity will increase by 5 thousand 118 with the new regulation.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu made a statement about high-speed train services. Emphasizing that Turkey met the high-speed train during the AK Party governments, Karaismailoğlu said; “Our citizens have a great interest in the high-speed train. In line with the intense demand from our citizens, we have made a reorganization in the number of flights. We are increasing the high-speed train services from 10 to 44 as of September 56.”

THE FIRST TIME WILL BE PLACED BETWEEN ESKİŞEHİR-İSTANBUL

Noting that they will increase the number of reciprocal flights between Ankara and Istanbul to 24 in total, Karaismailoğlu announced that the number of flights will be increased to 10 between Konya-Istanbul and to 14 between Konya-Ankara. Karaismailoglu; “There will also be a first expedition between Eskişehir and Istanbul. The high-speed train will serve our citizens from Eskişehir to Istanbul at 06.00:20.40 in the morning and from Istanbul to Eskişehir at XNUMX:XNUMX in the evening.

DAILY PASSENGER CAPACITY WILL INCREASED BY 31 PERCENT

Emphasizing that with the new arrangement, the daily seat capacity will reach from 7 thousand 686 to 10 thousand 584 on the Ankara-Istanbul line, Karaismailoğlu said that the capacity will increase from 3 thousand 288 to 4 thousand 542 on the Konya-Istanbul line and from 5 thousand 796 on the Konya-Ankara line. He stated that it will increase to 6 thousand 762. Pointing out that the passenger capacity will increase by 5 thousand 118 people in total with the increase in the number of flights, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu; “We serve an average of 20 thousand citizens a day on our high-speed train lines. With the increase in capacity, our capacity will increase by 31 percent and will exceed 25 thousand.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they determined the road maps for the upcoming period in railway investments and targets, as in all transportation modes, and stated that according to the 2053 Transport and Logistics Master Plan, the number of provinces with high-speed train connection will be increased from 8 to 52. Noting that there will be an increase in freight and passenger capacity, Karaismailoğlu noted that the share of the railway in investments will also increase.
