After the necessary preparations are made, the ship will carry out natural gas exploration at a distance of 25 nautical miles, according to the seismic data obtained previously.

THE SHIP BARBAROS HAYREDDIN PASA IS 84 METERS LONG

The ship, originally named 'Polarcus Samur' and purchased from Norway by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), was named 'Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha'. The ship, which was painted red at the Desan Shipyard in Tuzla, is 84 meters long. The ship, which will be used for natural gas and oil exploration, can collect two- and three-dimensional seismic data. The ship can automatically determine its direction and position via satellite communication. The ship also has a helipad.
