Boost Your Child's Immunity with Fun Recipes with Plenty of Vitamin D

The excitement of returning to school has begun. Families have great responsibilities for the healthy nutrition of children who go to school. Believing that proper nutrition and a happy life pass through the family, Muratbey prepared delicious and nutritious recipes that can be eaten together with the whole family.

With the opening of schools and the start of the new academic year, a great fuss started in families. It is of great importance that children who go to school after the long summer vacation have a healthy diet. Especially in these days when we are starting to feel the effects of autumn, it is necessary to eat right in order to prepare and strengthen the body against the changing weather and the health problems it brings.

Muratbey Nutrition Specialist Prof. Dr. Muazzez Garipağaoğlu reminded that families should pay more attention to proper and quality nutrition for their children who go to school. Garipağaoğlu said, “The main food groups must be included in the lunchboxes of children. Let's not forget that the success of children in lessons is directly proportional to the quality of nutrition. For this reason, instead of putting ready-made packaged products in children's bags, you can create a healthy and delicious snack by preparing small fun sandwiches, pancakes, pastries with white cheese, cheddar, Burgu cheese and Misto cheese at home and adding fruit to it. It is important and necessary that the foods in the milk group take place in almost all meals of children. You can ensure that the protein needs of the child are met by choosing macaroni with cheese or making pastries with cheese and minced meat.

Enjoyable and healthy snack recipes for children from Muratbey:

Spinach Cheese Crepe

Contents:

For the crepes:

  • 1 water glass milk
  • Half a glass of water
  • 2 pieces of eggs
  • 1,5 finger missing flour from 1 cups
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • Salt
  • Olive oil (for cooking pancakes)

For internal mortar:

  • 100 grams Muratbey Plus Fresh Cheese
  • Half a bunch of chopped spinach
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil

For the tomato sauce:

  • 2-3 tablespoons of Muratbey Butter
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 4 tablespoons tomato puree
  • Some hot water to open the sauce
  • A pinch of granulated sugar
  • Salt, pepper

Fabrication:

Put all the ingredients for making pancakes in a bowl and beat with a wire whisk until completely smooth. Put a few drops of olive oil in the crepe pan and spread it all over the pan with a paper towel. Take a ladle of your pancake mix and pour it into the middle of your pan and turn the pan in a circular way with your hand so that the pancakes spread all over and take a round shape. If you wish, you can make it a little thicker than usual, as we will put full mortar in it. Do not turn over until the cooked side is completely removed from the pan. When it comes apart, cook the other side, oil your pan again and pour another ladle of pancakes. Continue this process until you run out of pancake batter. Don't forget to oil your pan every time. While your pancakes are waiting on the side, heat the olive oil in a large pan and fry the chopped onions until translucent. Add thinly sliced red peppers on top. After frying for a few minutes, add the chopped spinach. Add your salt. After it softens and cooks, transfer it to a separate bowl to cool. Add Muratbey Plus Fresh Cheese, which you have crumbled with your hand, and mix well. While your stuffing is waiting on the side, put the necessary ingredients for tomato sauce in a sauce pan and start cooking. Turn off the heat when it absorbs the water and gets the sauce consistency. Take your first crepe on the counter and spread the stuffing you prepared all over it. Roll it up into a roll. Continue this process until all your pancakes and stuffing are finished. Take it on a plate and pour the tomato sauce you cooked on it and serve.
