Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and Hava Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (HAVELSAN), a smart camera protocol was signed with the participation of Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank at the Smart Cities Data and Coordination Center (Planet House).

In the studies carried out in this context, HAVELSAN's capabilities and capabilities in the field of Smart and Safe Cities will be combined, and the video analysis software, which is designed for data received from imaging systems, in which images from the field are analyzed simultaneously, and which is independent of hardware and platform, will be used by integrating with the systems of the Metropolitan Municipality. .

Within the scope of firefighting, this software will provide early intervention with the feature of "Detection before the event occurs", and it will be possible to take precautions against fire, and it will also be possible to intervene with incident detection in cases such as fire, fight, and shooting. By providing easy integration with existing imaging devices with domestic and national artificial intelligence supported software, person density analysis and suspicious person / object tracking will also be possible.

TWO PRODUCTS ARE REVEALED AS A RESULT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORTED WORK

HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar mentioned the long-standing studies on smart cities and said:

“We have developed software for city security management systems, camera integrations and video analysis applications covering all 81 provinces of Turkey. In this sense, we have created two products as a result of the knowledge, experience and experience we have gained, and in this sense, the artificial intelligence supported studies on image evaluation and extracting new features from the image. One of them is the 'data camera management system' we call Orbit and the other is 'video analysis', which we call Eyeminer, that is, taking the video images as data and analyzing them by artificial intelligence, and then detecting some anomalies, wrong or negative situations. For example, the missing child.”

GAZİANTEP IS ONE OF OUR LEADING MUNICIPALITIES

Stating that the system to be implemented in Gaziantep will be used in Hasan Celal Güzel Nation's Garden, Nacar said, “Many situations such as lost, stolen motorcycles, lost bags, leftover items, lost children, pulling a gun are automatically detected by artificial intelligence without being dependent on the operator. Necessary information is given to the relevant units. such a system. Gaziantep is one of our leading municipalities in this regard. We think this will spread rapidly and spread to other parks, gardens and controlled environments. It may be possible to expand this first pilot application in the city in the continuation of it.”

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin and HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. While Mehmet Akif Nacar signed the protocol, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank accompanied.
