The results of the application to the Ministry of Youth and Sports KYK dormitories have been announced.
Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu announced that the first phase of placements for GSB Dormitories 2022-2023 academic year dormitory placement results have been completed.

Some of the headlines from Minister Kasapoğlu's speech are as follows:
“I have to state that all applications are analyzed in a completely digital environment in a completely objective way.
Today, we complete the first phase and start the implementation phase. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone from the Ministry family, who worked with extraordinary effort in our first phase studies.
Applications were analyzed by 12 public institutions. Our students whose applications were deemed valid were determined by scoring based on income, success and social status criteria. Again, these criteria were ranked based on income, success and social status.
Although we received the highest demand on an annual basis, we achieved the highest placement rate in our history in our first phase placement. In our first phase first placement, we achieved a record 80 percent welcome rate.
Our dormitories are the strongest infrastructure in the world. We have an infrastructure that has more capacity than the population of 36 countries. 3 more phases after the first phase. As of today, we will start the 2nd phase studies. No one, not our families or young people, should worry. In order to bring them together with these environments, I will share the results of our work with you, phase by phase.”
