As Bursa is the 'Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2022', the Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out different activities worthy of this title, organizes an International Photography Contest with a total of 175 thousand TL prize money in accordance with the same theme.
With the International Photography Contest, it is aimed to document the common aspects of Turkish culture and arts, to strengthen the unity and brotherhood of the Turkic peoples, to transfer the common Turkish culture to future generations and to introduce it to the world through photography. Competition; It covers all the activities bearing the traces of Turkish culture that will be held throughout 2022 in the center and districts of Bursa, which has been declared the Cultural Capital of the Turkish World in 2022.
The competition consists of two parts: color and black and white photography and drone photography in the digital (digital) category. The contest, where participation is free, is open to all amateur and professional photographers around the world. The chairperson of the hall, the members of the jury, the TFSF representative and their first degree relatives will not be able to participate in the competition, and those who have a restriction decision given by the TFSF will not be able to participate in the competition. Each participant can participate in the competition with a maximum of 6 digital color and black and white photographs.
The results of the competition, whose application deadline is October 15, 2022, are submitted to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. http://www.bursa.bel.tr and TFSF's tfsfonayliyarismalar.org and BUFSAD bufsad.org.tr official websites. In addition, the results will be notified to all participants by e-mail. The first in the Digital Color/Black and White Category will be rewarded with 15 thousand TL, the second with 10 thousand TL and the third with 8 thousand TL. Again, in the competition where 3 TL will be given to 5000 honorable mentions; The Cultural Capital of the Turkic World Bursa Special Award is 5000, TÜRKSOY Special Award is 3000, Institutional Special Award is 3000, Süleyman Çelebi Special Award is 3000, Kyrgyzstan Artist Toktobolot Abdumomunov Special Award is 3000 and Azerbaijani Composer Fikret Amirov Special Award is 3000 TL. A maximum of 100 works deemed worthy of exhibition will be rewarded with 500 TL each.
The first winner in the Drone Category of the competition will win 10.000 TL, the second 8000 TL and the third 6000 TL. In the competition, 3 honorable mentions will be awarded with 4000 TL each.
The participants of the competition will be able to access the calendar of events and activities with the theme of the Turkic World to be held in Bursa throughout 2022, as well as detailed information on the website at bursa2022.org and their social media accounts at @2022turkdunyasi.
