Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan met with his fellow citizens at TOKİ Kayaköy 1st Stage social housing, which was brought to Denizli under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Mayor Zolan said that with the biggest social housing move in the history of the Republic, initiated by President Erdoğan, they will add 3.150 more houses to the city.
“Denizli will have 3.150 more social housing”
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan met with his fellow countrymen at TOKİ Kayaköy 1st Stage social housing built in Kayaköy District. In addition to Mayor Osman Zolan, AK Party Merkezefendi District President Fatih Durmaz, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary Generals Ali Aydın, Seval Gebeş, Serhat Akbulut and Ömer Faruk Özer, heads of departments and residents of the neighborhood attended the program. In his speech here, Mayor Zolan wished the TOKİ Kayaköy residences good luck and shared all the details of the construction process of the social housing. Stating that the area where the social housing is built belongs to Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Zolan stated that in line with the demand from the citizens, the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the effort of the TOKİ Presidency and the cooperation of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, have started working on the construction of social housing in Denizli.
“Approximately 17 of our families became homeowners”
Emphasizing that they encourage TOKİ to build social housing not only in the city center but also in all districts, Mayor Osman Zolan said, “TOKİ has built nearly 19 residences in 17 districts with the cooperation of our Metropolitan Municipality. Nearly 400 of our families became homeowners," he said. Stating that 17 more houses will be added to the city with the biggest social housing move in the history of the Republic announced by President Erdoğan, Mayor Zolan said, “We will exceed 400 thousand in the number of houses built by TOKİ in Denizli. The ultimate goal of one's family is to own a house. May Allah grant us a healthy and peaceful life. This place suits our Denizli very well,” he said.
They conveyed their requests and suggestions to President Zolan.
President Zolan continued his speech as follows: “May Allah be pleased with our President, those who caused it and those who worked hard. Sit bye-bye and have a happy home with your spouse, children and loved ones. May there be unity and solidarity in our country. If we do not have a state, if our flag does not fly, God forbid, what we are talking about is of no value. I hope our tomorrow will be better than today," he said. After the speech, the residents of the neighborhood, who presented their requests and suggestions to Mayor Zolan, thanked them for their support.
