China Launches Fifth Batch of Yaogan-35 Satellites

The fifth batch of “Yaogan-35” satellites was successfully launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center by Long March 12D rocket at 19:2 Beijing time today.

The fifth group of satellites was placed in the projected orbit without any problems. The satellites are intended to provide scientific trials, research of national soil resources, evaluation of the harvest of agricultural products and support for disaster relief efforts.

The last space mission was the 436th flight of the Long March rocket.
