IETT IS READY FOR WINTER AND SCHOOLS OPEN
IETT Buses switched to the 'Winter Schedule' as of Saturday, September 10. According to the new expedition order, 5 thousand 237 flights are planned with 52 thousand 985 vehicles per day at IETT.
In the winter expedition order; 48R, D1 and D2 lines, which were put into service due to demand in the summer, will be deactivated. The KM28, 98K, 59HS, 48U, 38H, 36S, 29T and HT19 lines will be reactivated due to the Winter Campaign. IETT will also organize a total of 12 additional flights in parallel with the intensity to be experienced on Monday, September 916, when the new Academic Year will begin. Spare vehicles will be kept ready against possible densities and reinforcements will be made on the lines where the density is experienced. According to the decision taken by the IMM Assembly, public transportation will be free between 06.00-14.00 on the first day of opening of the schools, so the vehicles will be able to work at full capacity.
