As of today, the applications of the teachers working in the Ministry of National Education official education institutions and private education institutions for the Teaching Career Steps Written Examination for expert teachers and head teachers, and the applications of those who are exempt from the exam, have started as of today.
The Teacher Career Stages Written Exam application process, which started today for teachers working in official education institutions of the Ministry of National Education, will continue until 03 October 2022. Candidates must complete their professional development documents by this date.
Among the teachers who have applied for the Teaching Career Levels Written Examination and whose applications have been approved, those who will complete their graduate education until 30 October 2022 will be exempted from the exam, provided that they submit their documents proving that they have completed their education and that their education status is updated in the relevant module in MEBBIS.
Among the candidates who will apply, those who work in official education institutions will be able to login to the system with their MEBBİS / e-Government passwords, and those who work in private education institutions with their e-Government passwords.
Works and procedures regarding the applications of teachers working in other public institutions and organizations other than the Ministry of National Education will be carried out by their institutions in line with the announcement to be made by the institutions they work for.
The details of the applications to be made at basvuru.meb.gov.tr are as follows:
Those who will apply for specialist teaching;
a) Having served at least ten years in teaching, including candidate teaching, as of the last day of the written exam application date,
b) Working as a teacher,
c) There is no penalty for stopping the progress of the stage,
ç) To have completed at least 180 hours of Expert Teacher Training Program prepared for the professional development of teachers,
d) To have completed specialist teaching professional development studies, the conditions will be sought.
Those who will apply for the head teacher position;
a) Having served at least ten years as a specialist teacher as of the last day of the written exam application date,
b) Working as a specialist teacher,
c) There is no penalty for stopping the progress of the stage,
ç) To have completed at least 240 hours of Head Teacher Training Program prepared for the professional development of specialist teachers,
d) To have completed the professional development studies as a head teacher will be sought.
On the other hand, teachers who have completed their master's education will be exempted from the written exam for specialist teaching, and specialist teachers who have completed their doctorate education will be exempted from the written exam for head teacher. Among those who will apply for specialist teaching/head teacher positions, those who will be exempted from the written exam must also meet the requirements for specialist teacher/head teacher positions. Candidates who will apply for the Teaching Career Stages Written Exam will not be charged any exam fee.
