Cetin Altun, Deputy General Manager of TCDD Transportation, pointed out that 7 thousand 3 tons of aid materials have been transported with 690 “Goodness Trains” to date, and said, “Our trains, which we will bid farewell to a little later, will cover a total distance of 3 thousand 991 kilometers to Iran's Zahedan Station. All railwaymen on the route of the train are working hard to ensure that our trains and the aid materials in them reach those in need as soon as possible.”

Önder Bozkurt, Deputy General Manager of AFAD Disaster Response, stated that 'Goodness Trains' from 4 provinces depart for Pakistanis and said, “We hope that basic humanitarian aid materials such as aid packages, hygiene boxes, tents and blankets going by trains; It helps flood victims, survivors and Pakistanis who are affected by the flood in the region. It provides them with benefits and conveniences at the point of meeting their basic needs.

Pakistani Ambassador Muhammed Sirus Seccad Gazi thanked the Turkish people for their help and said, “These trains carry approximately 350 tons of food aid. It will help a great deal to the food problem in Pakistan," he said.

After the speeches, prayers were said for those who lost their lives in Pakistan and the trains weighing 1040 tons and carrying 57 thousand 266 boxes of food and hygiene materials were sent off. The trains will cover a total distance of 3 thousand 991 kilometers until Iran's Zahedan Station in 8 days.
