4th World Nomad Games Begins

The opening program of the 4th World Nomad Games, which will be held in Bursa's Iznik district, will take place tomorrow with the participation of President Erdogan. On the opening day of the 4th World Nomad Games, traditional games from mounted archery to traditional archery, such as root-kökbörü will bring great excitement to the participants.

The 29th World Nomad Games, which will be held in Bursa's Iznik district between September 02 and October 2022, 4, will start with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and heads of state and government. Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, the President of the World Ethnosports Confederation, who followed all the preparations in Iznik from the very beginning, stated that the preparations were completed and that they had prepared an event area where the guests would have fun for 4 days and they invited everyone as a family.

The World Nomad Games has the distinction of being the only and first in the world in traditional sports branches, which includes many activities from sports to art, from gastronomy to experiencing traditional sports. The 4th World Nomad Games, where different activities will be held from horse games to national wrestling, from archery to gastronomy, from traditional arts to performing arts, from children's playgrounds to ethno market; It aims to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of peoples from all over the world, to strengthen intercultural communication, friendship and harmony.

TOMORROW TEN THOUSANDS WILL FLOCK TO İZNİK

On the first day of the 102th World Nomad Games, in which more than 3000 athletes from 4 countries will participate, competitions will be held in root-kökbörü, traditional archery, and mounted archery. The program will continue with colorful activities throughout the day. Tens of thousands of citizens are expected to show interest in the areas established tomorrow.

Different culture and arts, handicraft workshops, local promotion tents, application workshops, gastronomy, universal flavors, Iznik peasant market, local treats and dining areas were prepared for the participants. For children, there will be activities such as Rafadan Crew, horseback riding, archery, traditional children's games, children's art workshops. While camping and caravan areas are set up for the participants, Turkish Stars will perform at intervals throughout the day and popular artists will take the stage. The 19.00th World Nomad Games, which will start with the official opening speech of President Erdoğan at 4 on Thursday, will end with the closing program on Sunday.
