Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) additional placement results have been announced. The results can be accessed from ÖSYM's website: sonc.osym.gov.tr.
According to the results of the 2022 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), additional placement procedures to higher education programs have been completed in line with the preferences received from the candidates for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Candidates can learn the results of the additional placement with their TR Identity Numbers and passwords from the internet address of ÖSYM: sonac.osym.gov.tr.
ÖSYM announced that the placement result document will not be printed and will not be sent to the addresses of the candidates.
Candidates who are entitled to enroll in a program according to the YKS additional placement results will be able to register between 26-30 September 2022. Electronic records can be made between 25-28 September 2022.
YÖK: 99 percent of the quotas are filled
On the other hand, the statement made on the social media account of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) regarding the YKS additional placement results included the following statements:
“After the dam point application abolished in 2022 YKS, 99 percent of the quotas of higher education institutions have been filled. Significant success has been achieved in terms of access to higher education in both initial and additional placements. With the additional placement, the number of vacancies in higher education institutions decreased from 96 thousand 15 to 19 thousand 358. We sincerely congratulate all of our placed candidates and wish them success.”
