The second of the Pakistan Kindness Train, the first of which was sent off on the 100th anniversary of our Great Victory, was sent off from the Historical Ankara Station on September 1. In the second stage of the Goodness Train, where 29 tons of humanitarian aid materials were sent in 500 wagons in the first stage, 33 tons of emergency aid materials were set out in 28 wagons for the Pakistani citizens who were damaged by more than 452 million floods.

Making his speech at the ceremony, TCDD Transportation Deputy General Manager Çetin Altun said that in the East, via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, to Russia, via the Middle Corridor to China, via Iran and Turkmenistan line, to Afghanistan and again to Pakistan via the Iran Line. He emphasized that trains reaching up to Altun also underlined that thanks to the railway bridge created by the Goodness Trains, the help of friendly and brotherly aggrieved peoples was also sought.

Deputy General Manager Altun: “Our Pakistan Goodness Trains will cover a total distance of 3 kilometers from Ankara to Iran's Zahedan station in 991 days, and aid materials will be delivered to those in need in Pakistan with the transfer to be made here.” said.

Under AFAD Coordination, 6 Different Airplanes and 1 Goodness Train Full of Aid Have Been Sent to the Region So Far

AFAD President Yunus Sezer said: “We have sent 6 separate planes and 1 kindness train to the region under the coordination of AFAD in order to meet the humanitarian aid needs. A total of 5.120 family-style tents, 7.990 blankets and pillows, 9.864 food parcels, 3.935 units of miscellaneous food, 2.000 baby food and hygiene kits, 1.320 boxes of clothing materials and 426.000 units of medical supplies were shipped to the region, including those supplied locally. used the phrases.

Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammed Sirus Seccad Gazi stated that the disaster in Pakistan was published in all media and the gravity of the situation was in front of the eyes of the whole world. Emphasizing that friendship and fraternity show themselves in difficult times, Ambassador Seccad Gazi expressed his gratitude to the people of Turkey, who extended a helping hand in Pakistan's difficult time, and to the Turkish state administrators, railway family and non-governmental organizations who ensured the delivery of aid.
