Many of the immovable cultural assets in our country, which have been preserved and transferred from generation to generation over the years, increase their value day by day, both in terms of functionality and location. Finally, Leman Esma Kasay Han in Sultanahmet Square, which was built by the palace doctor Nuri Kenan Pasha in the mid-1800s and was used as an office in the period, was put up for sale for 229 million TL. The 600-square-meter 6-storey property, which was put up for sale for both re-use and keeping the cultural heritage alive, entered the radar of investors with its location in the center of Istanbul, 70 meters from the Hagia Sophia Mosque and 30 meters from the Basilica Cistern.

Stating that Leman Esma Kasay Han is a second-degree historical monument, Turgay Öztürk, the founder of the real estate and real estate office REDSTONE İCG, the sales representative of the inn, evaluated the subject with the following words: “Many immovable historical buildings that have been preserved from centuries ago to the present day have been restored to their functionality with the restoration works carried out over time. can continue up to the present. Leman Esma Kasay Han, located in the center of Istanbul, is among these buildings with its architectural design that predicts the future when it was built, and attracts the attention of investors. Therefore, it was put up for sale under the leadership of the grandchildren of Nuri Kenan Pasha, in order to preserve the cultural value of the building, to transfer it to future generations and to use it in a beneficial way.”

The 6-floor historical building continues its functionality with a 600 square meter usage area.

Underlining that the 6-storey historical building put up for sale has a total area of 93 square meters, each floor of which is 600 square meters, Turgay Öztürk said, “Leman Esma Kasay Han has two terraces of 10 square meters on the sixth and seventh floors, in addition to a wide usage area with 25 rooms. On the ground floor, there is a double-fronted store area of 93 square meters and 22 and 5 meters long. The building, which is currently using a single entrance, has a double entrance. In this way, the entrances for the shop and the upper floors can be evaluated separately.”

It was the only monument where the works in the square could be seen at the same time.

Stating that the building has the privilege of being the only monument where the works in Sultanahmet Square can be seen at the same time, REDSTONE ICG Founder Turgay Öztürk said, “While Leman Esma Kasay Han's uninterrupted view of the islands and the Bosphorus can be seen from various points, it is a pleasure to watch, while the works other than the Hagia Sophia Mosque and the Basilica Cistern can be seen. its proximity also adds spirit to the historical texture of the building. For example, the fact that it is located right next to the Million Stone, which was placed at the point considered the zero point of the world during the Eastern Roman Empire, reinforces the value of the building in terms of location as well as its spirit. For this reason, we examine all requests in detail due to both the functionality and cultural value of the building. We prioritize the sale of the work with the focus of sustainable principles.”
