In Dilek Peninsula Büyük Menderes Delta National Park, which is one of the important natural habitats of Aydın, measures against forest fires are maximized, while risky areas are wetted every hour to form a fireproof strip.

In addition to its natural beauties, Dilek Peninsula Büyük Menderes Delta National Park, which is home to many wildlife, is protected 7/24 against forest fires. A new application was carried out in the region where fire precautions were taken to the highest level. Areas with a high risk of fire in the National Park are wetted every hour by a water tanker, creating a fire strip.

In the statement made by the Dilek Peninsula Büyük Menderes Delta National Park Directorate on the subject, "Our National Park is protected by National Park Protection Teams, Gendarmerie Commando Teams, Police Special Operations Teams, Coast Guard Teams, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Aerial Monitoring, Camera and Photo Traps, as well as risky areas. Actively, our 5-ton water tanker is wetted every hour to form a fireproof tape. With the roadside wetting process, the humidity rate in the area is also increased. Our state is in the National Park with all its means.” Source: The National Park is under fire protection
