Ankara Metropolitan Municipality ASKİ General Directorate teams continue to bring water to the most remote corners of the Capital.

Ankara Water and Sewerage General Directorate (ASKİ) provided cleaner drinking water to 17 neighborhoods in 26 different districts of the capital. The General Directorate of ASKİ, which completed its work in the period of approximately 2 months between the Ramadan Feast and the Feast of Sacrifice, and gave almost a holiday gift to the people of the Capital, continues to solve the water and infrastructure problems of the Capital, one by one.

Stating that the teams work on a 7/24 basis all over the city, ASKİ General Manager Erdoğan Öztürk said, “Our 17 neighborhoods in 26 different districts, where access to water has been provided mostly by tankers for years, were brought to water one by one with the wells drilled by the ASKİ teams.

THE PERIOD OF WATER TRANSPORT WITH TANKERS IS OVER

Noting that the ASKİ teams, who started to work quickly "between two holidays" for the solution of the problems of the neighborhoods that have been without water for years, opened wells in these neighborhoods, Öztürk said, "Our citizens, who got water from the wells that we brought to their homes, were happy as if they had received a holiday gift. Only with the transmission line from Benalan Pond to Nallıhan Soğukkuyu, and for Gölbaşı's İkizce District, we have commissioned the promotion in Gökçehöyük District and a 3 cubic meter warehouse in İkice District.
