The communiqué of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Social Security Institution (SGK) on making changes in the Health Implementation Communiqué (SUT) was published in the duplicate issue of the Official Gazette.

With the Health Implementation Notification Regulations Made on Medical Device Prices, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has improved the medical equipment reimbursement costs used by health service providers within the scope of inpatient treatment of general health insurance holders by increasing rates ranging from 10 percent to 100 percent.

With the SUT amendment, an increase of 40 percent was made in all package operation scores including dialysis treatments in SUT and in dental procedure scores, in order to ensure the continuity of health service delivery within the scope of Health Implementation Communiqué Regulations Regarding Health Services Transaction Points. The additional rates paid to official tertiary care providers for intensive care treatments were increased from 60 percent to 100 percent.

With the Health Implementation Notification Regulations Made on Medical Device Prices, an improvement was achieved by increasing the reimbursement costs of medical equipment used by health service providers within the scope of inpatient treatments of general health insurance holders, ranging from 10 percent to 100 percent.

A new drug to be used in the treatment of patients diagnosed with Lambert Eaton myasthenic syndrome and congenital myasthenic syndrome has been added to the list of foreign drugs within the scope of the Health Implementation Communiqué Regulations for Medicines Procured from Abroad.

Updates were made regarding the contribution fee exemption and reimbursement criteria for the genetic diseases with muscle involvement. The drug used in the treatment of patients diagnosed with a rare disease, Zellweger's syndrome and hereditary bile acid metabolism disorders, was exempted from the contribution fee, and arrangements were made for the conditions of use and the demands of the patients in this regard were met positively.
