In its second year, the Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival meets the audience with the theme of peace and Istanbul. The festival will host star names and legendary chamber music groups such as Tedi Papavrami, François Frédéric Guy, Miguel da Silva, Frans Helmerson, Jacques Ammon and the Jerusalem Quartet; It offers a rich program with workshops, talks, youth concerts and children's activities. The festival is taking place at the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall between September 6 and 23, with the contributions of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Culture Department.

Established to open a new window on music for Istanbul music lovers, the Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival, which was held under the direction of cello artist Nil Kocamangil, throughout the festival with its belief in the transforming and transformative power of music; It deals with listening to oneself, listening to each other and listening to the city. The Department of Culture, which carries out various projects throughout the year in order to contribute to the training of international musicians and soloists in Turkey, gives special importance to the master classes held within the Istanbul Chamber Music Festival. The festival, which will take place on Tuesday, September 6, at CRR, will be opened by the famous violin virtuoso TediPapavrami, master interpreter of German romantics François-Frédéric Guy and Turkish cellist Nil Kocamangil. In its second year, the festival deals with the theme of peace and Istanbul, inspired by the meaningful words of the conductor Zubin Mehta; “Music is the message of peace and music only brings peace.”

II. The Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival aims to bring music to all age groups in the society, with world-famous musicians' chamber music concerts at the CRR Concert Hall, as well as interviews with surprise names in the foyer of the CRR Concert Hall, workshops for children.
