Historical Arasta Bazaar Reaches Its New Face

With the cooperation of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Kayseri Governor's Office, Arasta Bazaar, which is located within the historical Karamustafa Pasha Complex, which is one of the symbols of İncesu district, got its new face. While the facade improvement and renovation works were carried out in Arasta Bazaar, the bazaar was decorated with soaps and hand-worked mats.

With the support of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and Kayseri Governor's Office, İncesu District Governorship and İncesu Municipality work together to bring Arasta Bazaar to tourism. In this context, Arasta Bazaar was decorated with fragrant soaps and handmade mats.

Governor of Kayseri Gökmen Çiçek, Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. With the support of Memduh Büyükkılıç and İncesu Mayor Mustafa İlmek, the historical shops in İncesu Arasta Bazaar are diversified and brought to the region tourism with facade improvement and restoration works.

On the other hand, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Kayseri Vocational Education and Culture Inc. (KAYMEK) took its place in the bazaar with the KAYMEK İncesu Arasta Bazaar Sales Office, where handcrafted products specific to Kayseri will be offered for sale. The office, which was prepared as a result of 36 hours of work by KAYMEK staff upon the instructions of Governor Çiçek and President Büyükkılıç, will serve with a variety of colorful products handcrafted by KAYMEK trainees and trainers.

President Büyükkılıç made a statement on the subject, “Our Arasta Bazaar is more beautiful now. As Kayseri Governorship and Metropolitan Municipality, we have opened our bazaar to visit for our valuable citizens, local and foreign tourists by making touches unique to our Kayseri in the Historical İncesu Arasta Bazaar.

On the other hand, Governor Çiçek said, “The District Governorate and the Municipality have joined hands, and with the support of the Metropolitan, they both beautify their districts and work to bring them into tourism. Arasta Bazaar is decorated with fragrant soaps and handmade mats. We must see Arasta now," he said.
