ENAG Announces July Inflation Rate

Inflation Research Group (ENAG) announced inflation data for July. According to the announced data, annual inflation was 176.04 percent. The consumer price index in July increased by 5.03 percent. Since the beginning of the year, the increase in inflation was 80.35 percent.

Every month, the Inflation Research Group (ENAG) comes before the public with its own calculated inflation rate. It is noteworthy that there is a big gap between the ratios announced and TURKSTAT.

Before the inflation data of the year, which will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) at 10.00:XNUMX today, ENAG has published its own calculations.

OVER 176 PERCENT INFLATION DATA

According to ENAG, the ENAGgroup Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) rose 5.03 percent in July.

The last 12-month increase in e-CPI was 176.04 percent.

The 7-month (January-July) inflation increase from the beginning of the year was 80.35 percent.

ANNUAL INFLATION AGAIN RISE BY JUNE

According to the data shared by ENAG, the 12-month increase rate in the Consumer Price Index was recorded as 175.55 percent in June.

HIGHEST INCREASE CLOTHING AND SHOES

It was announced that the item with the highest increase in the shared data was in the housing.

In the ENAG report, it was stated that "When the TurkStat subgroups are taken as an indicator, the highest monthly decrease was in Transportation with 1,44 percent, and the highest increase was in Clothing and Footwear with 12,18 percent".
