Erciyes, which offers wide opportunities for all mountain and nature sports such as cycling, hiking and climbing, also hosts hundreds of amateur and professional cyclists every year.
A special bicycle and activity park was created for children in Erciyes, which was built for the first time in our country on Mount Erciyes and where there are tracks of different difficulty levels for all mountain bike users such as downhill and mtb.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. The bicycle and playground, which was established in Tekir region at 2.200 meters, was planned for the children to have fun, their mental and physical development, and to grow up as good cyclists.
The bicycle park, which was built on an area of approximately 1000 square meters and surrounded by a safe environment, prepares an environment for children to spend time to the fullest.
The bicycle training area, which is in service between 09:00 and 17:00 in Erciyes, accepts children between the ages of 4-16. Children can use the bikes in the park free of charge 7 days a week, or they can bring and use their own bikes.
Making a statement on the subject, Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr.Murat Cahid Cıngı said, “From the first day we started managing Erciyes, we have put forward our vision of making this unique mountain a global center for cycling, and we are getting closer to our goals step by step day by day. We created Turkey's first downhill tracks and held European Downhill Cups for the first time in our country. We have hosted many international competitions in MTB, the mountain bike category. We have become one of the venues where the most races are held in the world in road cycling, and we have managed to attract teams from nearly 30 countries to Erciyes every summer. We have created a training ground for our children this summer in order to train the cyclists of the future. Our goal is to make both our children and their families love cycling, to get used to mountain and downhill riding, and to be instrumental in raising future champions in this track, which is a small training park.”
