In his speech at the delivery ceremony, Karsan Domestic Market Sales and Foreign Relations Deputy General Manager Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu said, “We are achieving significant success with our electric vehicle sales in Europe. In addition to our large-scale deliveries of electric vehicles in export markets, now it is Turkey's turn. We are happy to sell Turkey's first electric bus in the 8 meter class. We contribute to making transportation more environmentally friendly by delivering 2 of our e-ATAK models, which will be used in public transportation in Antalya, the distinguished city of the Mediterranean. Karsan e-ATAK is preferred in urban public transportation!

Karsan, one of the first brands that comes to mind when electric buses are mentioned in Europe, is taking the first steps of its electric breakthrough on Turkish roads as well. While Antalya is among the firsts in this regard, the first electric buses of the city started service with the delivery of 2 Karsan e-ATAK. The electric buses that will be used for public transportation in Antalya's heavy traffic in the city will be the first electric bus of the city, as well as the first electric bus sold by Karsan in Turkey.

It offers a range of 300 km!

Karsan e-ATAK, which is the market leader in Europe with a 30 percent share in the electric city midibus segment, responds to the needs of customers by reaching 220 kWh power, which derives its power from batteries with a capacity of 230 kWh developed by BMW. Karsan e-ATAK's dimensions of 8,3 meters, a passenger capacity of 52 and a range of 300 km have made e-ATAK a leader in its class. e-ATAK can be charged in 5 hours with AC charging units and in 3 hours with DC units.
