EGİAD Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer, Chairman of the Aegean Young Businessmen Association, published a message for the August 30 Victory Day. Yelkenbiçer stated that the National Struggle had achieved a permanent victory with the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief on August 30, and emphasized that August 30, 1922 was the declaration that the nation would never give up on its independence. In his message, Yelkenbiçer stated that the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief, which ended in victory under the Commander-in-Chief of Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was one of the most important achievements of our history.
Yelkenbiçer made the following statements: “The Victory of August 30, which was one of the turning points of our War of Independence and changed the fate of our country; paved the way for the establishment of an independent, democratic and modern Turkey. Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, who had a historical struggle with the Great Offensive, left us a glorious history and an independent country. We continue to be inspired by the great legacy they left behind. The love of homeland and freedom that we have as a nation is always embodied in our selves. This high spirit and consciousness, which is at the foundation of our republic, always keeps us standing against difficulties. On this occasion, EGİAD On behalf of the business world, on the 30th of August Victory Day, we express our gratitude to the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, who left us this beautiful country, and our martyrs who gladly sacrificed their lives for the sake of their homeland and flag, with mercy and gratitude. I commemorate the heroic veterans with gratitude, and I would like to express that the bright future of our nation will never be lost as long as we live in brotherhood, unity and solidarity. We, the Turkish Youth, who know the value of the Republic, consider the protection of the indivisible integrity of the homeland and the unity and solidarity of our nation above all else.
