Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its works on the 'Adnan Menderes Boulevard Green Walking Road and Bicycle Road Project'. The road works have been completed in the project, where the physical realization has reached 95 percent. It has already started to serve bicycle and hiking enthusiasts on the road where landscaping works continue. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, "We attach great importance to projects that will protect public health by preventing air pollution in the city with the goal of Clean Environment, Clean City."
The project between Kurupelit and İncesu beach was designed as a green area, walking path and bicycle path. Working at the point of owning one of the longest bicycle paths in Turkey, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its activities without interruption. Citizens started cycling on the 2.7 kilometer road between Kurupelit and İncesu. After the landscaping arrangements are made, the bike path will also be made perfect in terms of aesthetics. Samsun will have one of the longest bicycle paths on the coastline.

Adnan Yıldırım, who stated that they had to use the road in the past and that he enjoyed cycling; “This project has been very good. Now we can use bicycles easily and safely. Thank you to everyone involved.” İsmail Demircan said, “We would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor, Mustafa Demir. It really works. We are very sorry for your inconvenience. I convey my best wishes to him," he said. Stating that he liked the project very much, Yağız Yön said, “I was using the car road. This was also dangerous. It was very nice to build this road,” he said.
