On the 30th anniversary of the August 100 Victory Day, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is carrying the work of World Poet Nazım Hikmet Ran's 'The Epic of the National Forces' to the stage. Narrators Edip Tepeli Nergis Öztürk, Mert Turak, Selen Öztürk will perform the epic epic accompanied by the 70-person CRR Symphony Orchestra. Mongolians, one of the pioneers of Anatolian Rock music, will also take the stage on August 30, where all Istanbul residents are invited to the Yenikapı event area.
From the occupation of Anatolia to the morning of August 30, the victory of the struggle is brought to the stage. The date of August 30, 1922 continues to live the reality of today as the concrete example of the national struggle and belief. IMM will refresh the memories with symphonic narratives, concerts and visual feasts at the event to be held in Yenikapı on the 100th anniversary of this historic victory.
In this meaningful night, sections from the epic of Kuvayi Milliye, the immortal work of Master Poet Nazım Hikmet Ran, will be performed by 4 important actors of the young generation. Edip Tepeli Nergis Öztürk, Mert Turak and Selen Öztürk will bring life to the symphonic narrative titled "From Kuvayi Milliye to Kurtuluş". The great offensive will be told with the 70-person CRR Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by the compositions of Muammer Sun, one of the important composers of the Republic, whom we lost in recent years, and Murat Cem Orhan, one of the important representatives of the new generation. Istanbulites will listen to the relentless struggle of the Anatolian people for the sake of independence with this symphonic narrative, step by step, with a choir of 80 people. While listening to the road to victory, the spirit of the national struggle will be remembered again with the visual feast. Istanbulites will commemorate the victory of the Great Offensive, in which the dark nights reached the bright morning, together with the same sense of unity.

With the repertoire of the Mongols group, one of the pioneers of Turkish rock music, special for the 30th Anniversary of the August 100 Victory Day, the rust of the ears will be erased. You will embark on a timeless journey with timeless songs.
Inviting Istanbulites to commemorate the Great Offensive, IMM President Ekrem İmamoğluwill live the spirit of faith, unity and struggle together with the people of Istanbul on this emotional night.
And as the Master Poet said in those famous lines;
"…The fires were burning in the mountains one by one. And the stars were so bright, so fresh that the man with the serge heart believed in good, comfortable days, not knowing how or when they would come.”
