The Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Security and Gendarmerie General Command units, in order to ensure the continuity of the atmosphere of peace and security, to make the presence of our security forces felt to the citizens at all times and everywhere, to be visible in the field, to deter those who aim to commit crimes, especially the public order, terrorist and narcotic incidents, and to arrest the wanted persons. “Peaceful Streets Practice” was implemented simultaneously across the country to seize criminal evidence.

As a result of the practice, which was carried out with the participation of 11.589 mixed teams, 172 detector dogs and 46.117 personnel throughout the country;

906 wanted persons were caught, 30 persons were detained. Judicial and administrative proceedings were carried out against a total of 176 persons, of which 93 persons were administrative and 269 persons were judicial.

In practice, 204.627 vehicles were checked and 4.227 vehicles were fined. While 603 vehicles were banned from traffic, 52 wanted vehicles were caught.

In the practice, where 17.415 workplaces were inspected, a total of 36 workplaces were processed, 1 of which were administrative and 37 was judicial.

In practice, 17 unlicensed pistols, 9 shotguns, 200 bullets/shotgun cartridges, 21 cutting/drilling tools, 84 blank pistols, 14 pistol magazines, various amounts of narcotic drugs, and 2.632 packs of illegal cigarettes were seized.
