The re-use flight test of the sub-orbital spacecraft, independently developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, affiliated with the China Astronautical Science-Tec Group, was successfully completed today.
The carrier spacecraft used in the flight test was re-fired from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center for vertical take-off after inspection and maintenance, and after completing the suborbital flight according to the specified procedure, it landed horizontally at Alxa Right Banner Airport.
The success of the said flight test gave strong support to the breakthrough development of space transportation technology in China from one-time use to renewable use.
