Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, in a phone call with Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu, requested that charter flights from Russia to land in Kayseri before winter tourism. In the meeting where investments were discussed, Minister Karaismailoğlu also told President Büyükkılıç that the new tram line, which is under construction, will come to test drives.

In this context, President Büyükkılıç had a telephone conversation with Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu. In his statement on the subject, Büyükkılıç said, “I talked to our esteemed minister on the phone. I gave information about the work done here. Before the start of winter tourism, I asked him to make the necessary preparations for charter flights from Russia to land in Kayseri. He said he would take care of his usual warmth towards us.”

President Büyükkılıç conveyed the greetings of Transport and Infrastructure Minister Karaismailoğlu to Kayseri and said, We love our president very much. They also sent their greetings by saying, 'We love our Kayseri, too'.

Emphasizing that Minister Karaismailoğlu will conduct test drives of the new tram line, which will begin to serve in Kayseri soon, Büyükkılıç continued his words as follows:
“Also, he said, 'I will come to test drives of the line from Anafartalar to Kumsmall soon, we will start it together'. In the briefing I received last year, our companies and officials stated that test drives could start as of the end of September. We also discussed the airport issue with our esteemed minister. It works quickly. In addition, Boğazköprü Logistics Village was also tendered, it is a good work, a good project. Logistics Village will be a lifeline for our investors from Kayseri who export to 180 countries. I would like to thank our President, our minister and all those who contributed.”
