Mansur Yavaş's Free Başkentray Proposal to Police and Gendarme was Rejected

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş's proposal for police and gendarmerie personnel to use BaşkentRay free of charge was rejected at the UKOME meeting.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Transportation and Coordination Center (UKOME) held its regular meeting in August.

ABB President Mansur Yavaş offered at the meeting that the police and gendarmerie personnel be given free use of EGO buses and the metro, as well as in BaşkentRay.

The proposal, which was discussed at the UKOME meeting, was rejected by the votes of TCDD, Ministry of Transport and other institution representatives.
