The number of freight trains passing through the Manzhouli and Suifenhe land ports in northeastern China reached 11 from the beginning of the year to August 16,3, an increase of 3 percent compared to the same period last year.

The amount of goods transported by these trains reached 16 thousand TEU with an increase of 310 percent.

In August, the number of China-Europe freight trains passing through these points increased to 186.

The daily container handling capacity at Manzhouli station has increased to 840 TEU.

The number of China-Europe freight train lines passing through the Manzhouli and Suifenhe land ports has reached 22. The trains allow goods to be traded between about 60 cities from China and 13 countries in Europe.
