Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu met with exporters and made evaluations about the investments of the ministry and 2053 vision, and said that they will invest 2053 billion dollars in 197,9 and said, “We will contribute 1 trillion dollars to the national income from here. We will contribute 2 trillion dollars to production. We will also contribute to employment of 28 million people. We will complete the appropriate infrastructures for electric vehicles. “We will increase the number of provinces that have access to high-speed trains and high-speed trains from 8 to 52,” he said.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the Service Export Synergy and Cooperation Workshop organized by the Service Exporters' Association (HIB). Noting that they have very serious investments in every field, Karaismailoğlu said that they continue to work in a way to compete with the world.
Karaismailoğlu stated that thanks to an investment of 183 billion dollars, they made an impact of 548 billion dollars on the total Gross Domestic Product, “Again, we had an impact on the production of 1.138 billion dollars. Again, a total of 17,9 million people contributed to employment. As a result of the investment of 183 billion dollars in all sectors, we have brought them to our country.”

Karaismailoğlu also mentioned the savings that the investments made to the environment and the economy, and emphasized the importance of the projects they implemented by using the state budgets and resources correctly. Pointing out that the Eurasia Tunnel relieves Istanbul traffic and is one of the most special projects in the world, Karaismailoğlu said that Istanbul Airport is one of the most successful projects in the world. Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, “This place has no life and greenery, don't worry, some people talk about Northern forests or something, but there was never such a thing here. We built one of the best airports in the world by investing 200 billion Euros without leaving a penny from the state in a region where there are quarries and sand quarries at a depth of 300-10 meters and where people and animals cannot enter, and it is now one of the special projects that the world envy. One of the best and busiest airports in Europe and the fifth in the world. It is truly one of the most successful projects in the world. We have made an investment of 10 billion Euros, without leaving a penny from the state, and after 25 years, with a rental income of 26 billion Euros, we are in front of us as a project that will close the contract here after 25 years. This project is one of the most valuable works in the world, which will serve this country for centuries, 25 years later.”

Pointing to the importance of realizing the right projects with the right financial methods, Karaismailoğlu noted that they do the projects with this understanding and provide additional income to the state's coffers. Pointing out that they are celebrating the 818th anniversary of Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, which was built with an investment of 6 million dollars, Karaismailoğlu said, “The total savings is 1 billion 619 million dollars. In other words, we have provided twice the construction cost so far thanks to these right projects. Today, approximately 110 thousand vehicles provide daily transit. These roads were necessary not only for export but also for life.”
WE WILL TURN INTO THE MINISTRY THAT CREATES IT'S OWN BUDGET FROM THE PROJECTS WE PRODUCE
Referring to the investments on the Northern Marmara Motorway, Osman Gazi Bridge and Istanbul-İzmir Highway, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu emphasized that such high-quality, safe and comfortable roads also contribute to the development of employment and industry. Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the support given to the projects after 2025 and the income flow balance each other and said, “When we came to 2036, we did not support any projects, and when we converted the projects whose contracts ended into financial management with income flow, now the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure; It is transforming into Turkey's largest investor ministry, the ministry that generates its own income and budget from the projects it produces," he said.
WE MOVED 745 MILLION PEOPLE IN MARMARAY
Karaismailoğlu, who gave information about the projects prepared with the public budget as well as the build-operate-transfer projects, stated that Marmaray, which was implemented with an investment budget of 3,2 billion dollars, has carried 745 million people to date. Talking about the Istanbul-Ankara High Speed Train project, Karaismailoğlu stated that they are currently undergoing a period of railway investment in Turkey and work is being carried out on the railway network of 4 kilometers. Referring to the 500 targets, Karaismailoğlu continued as follows:
“Last year, we reached 225 billion dollars in exports. I hope we will reach 250 billion dollars this year, but this will continue to increase every year. Therefore, we need to further develop this infrastructure. That's why we made the next 30-year plan. By 2053, we will increase the divided road network to 38 thousand kilometers. We are increasing our railway network to 28 kilometers. In fact, our airport infrastructure has been completed, we have 500 airport constructions in progress, and we will complete them. We will also increase the number of ports to 3.”
