Speaking at the opening ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that they have diversified, reproduced and popularized the seals engraved on these lands by their ancestors with the mosques they have built all over Istanbul in the recent period and said: ” said.
President Erdoğan congratulated the mosque community on Friday at the ceremony held on the occasion of the reopening of the Ayazma Mosque in Üsküdar, whose restoration was completed.
Wishing that the restoration of the 261-year-old mosque in Üsküdar will be beneficial for Turkey and the Islamic world, Erdoğan said: "From the time of Sultan Mustafa 3, the founder of our Ayazma Mosque, which adds value to our city with its architecture, location and many features, we have made an effort to keep this monument alive. I commemorate everyone. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the restoration of the mosque. Our Lord says in Surah At-Tawba: 'Masjids of Allah are built only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, perform the prayers, pay the zakat, and fear no one but Allah. I wish that the adhans to be read five times a day, the prayers to be performed and the prayers to be recited at the Ayazma Mosque will be accepted in the sight of Allah. We see each of our mosques, which echo the skies of our cities with their prayers, as spiritual guards erected on our homeland for the future of our country and nation.” he said.
Stating that by reopening the Hagia Sophia of Kebir Mosque for worship, Erdoğan said that they embraced the legacy of the conquest and its victorious commander, Fatih, and said: “We have diversified, multiplied and popularized the seals that our ancestors carved on these lands with the mosques we have built all over Istanbul recently. . We are in the peace of mind that we have fulfilled another duty by completing the restoration of the Ayazma Mosque and opening it for worship again.” said.
Erdogan wished that the prayers and worship to be done here would be accepted by Allah.
