Cooperation Protocol Signed Between KAYÜ and Erciyes AŞ

Kayseri University and Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. A cooperation protocol was signed in order to contribute to the training of the qualified technical expert staff needed by the Erciyes Ski Center by specializing the Technical Sciences Vocational School students on cable car and rope transport systems. In this context, our university students and academic staff and Erciyes A.Ş. It is aimed to make Kayseri an important center in winter tourism technique by working together with the technical team.

The protocol signing ceremony held at the Rectorate was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtulus Karamustafa, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Direction. Exchange rate. President Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı, Director of Technical Sciences Vocational School Prof. Dr. Ercan Karaköse and Erciyes A.Ş. gnl. art. Assist. Zafer Akşehirlioğlu attended the ceremony.

In the speeches made at the cooperation protocol ceremony, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Direction. Exchange rate. President Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı noted that Erciyes Ski Center has a technical infrastructure above world standards with the investments of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and they want to use this technical infrastructure for the development of both Kayseri city and Kayseri University.

Dr. Murat Cahid Cıngı said, “In our Erciyes Ski Center, there is a constant need for technical personnel in high-tech rope transport systems, generally known as chairlifts and cable cars. We are Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. We have the most competent human resources in our country in this regard. Kayseri University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, on the other hand, has turned into a higher education institution that has made a name in Turkey in a short time in vocational and technical education and training technical specialists. Our university has academic staff with significant knowledge and equipment in vocational and technical education. Within the scope of this cooperation, we will contribute to the sectoral development of both our university, our Erciyes, our city and our country by combining our needs with the resources our university has. With the technical infrastructure of our Erciyes, we will create a laboratory environment that our students will use, and we will enable the training of technical expert staff on the rope transport system. As a result of these studies, we will even try to bring new inventions and patents to our city. Therefore, we will have implemented the 'university-industry' cooperation efficiently. Hopefully, we will get successful and tangible results from this cooperation.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Kurtulus Karamustafa, on the other hand, stated that Turkey is an important tourism center not only in terms of summer tourism but also in many branches such as nature, culture and winter tourism.

Stating that Erciyes is an important center of attraction not only in terms of 'Cappadocia Tourism' but also in terms of tourism in our country, our Rector Karamustafa stated that there is a need for qualified human resources trained in many different fields in winter tourism as a country and said, With the efforts of Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. for 10 years, significant successes have been achieved. We appreciate these efforts. When it comes to winter tourism, only skiing and accommodation should not come to mind. Safe technical infrastructure in facilities is also extremely important. Vocational School of Technical Sciences, established within the body of our Kayseri University, has significant knowledge in our country in terms of vocational training and training technical specialists. The protocol we signed here today has two dimensions: In the first dimension, our students studying machinery and metal, computer technology, electricity and energy, electronics and automation programs at the Technical Sciences Vocational School, will benefit from other application opportunities, especially internships, and their technical knowledge and experience at the facilities in Erciyes. they will have the opportunity to develop in the field; On the other hand, our experienced academic staff in related programs will also contribute to R&D studies by providing technical support to Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. with their knowledge and experience. I wish that this signed protocol will be beneficial for our university, our students, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. and Kayseri. Hopefully, we will achieve important results," he said.
