The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality; Since 2019, it allows citizens to benefit from public transportation vehicles free of charge on official days and national and religious holidays.
IETT Buses, Private Public Buses, Metrobus, Nostalgic Tram and Tunnel vehicles and City Lines Ferries included in the free integration of Istanbulkart throughout Istanbul, private sea public transportation vehicles (except İDO Körfez), Metro operated by METRO ISTANBUL, Light Metro, Tram, Funicular, cable car and Kadıköy Moda Nostalgic Tram vehicles and vehicles connected to OTOBÜS AŞ (excluding Istanbul Airport lines, Marmaray Line will be included if the Ministry's decision is made) will serve free of charge on Friday, 29 October (tomorrow).
30 AUGUST IETT TIMES
On August 30, Victory Day, Metrobus services will be made on weekdays, and bus services will be made according to the Saturday schedule. Our vehicles will serve from Turgut Özal Millet Street as an alternative route to Vatan Street, which will remain closed from morning until 30 on August 28, the day of the 30 August Victory Day Ceremonies rehearsal, and on August 14.00, which is the day of the ceremony. Within the scope of Victory Day, public transportation will be made free of charge in Istanbul on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. For the 30 August Victory Day event to be organized by IMM in Yenikapı, ring services will be organized between Yenikapı Metro Station and the event area. From Yenikapı to the event area, departures will be made at 18.00, 18.30, 19.00, 19.15, 20.00 and 20.30. At the end of the event, there will be flights to Yenikapı at 23.00, 23.15, 23.30, 23.45 and 00.00.
