The 12th Beijing International Film Festival kicked off today in Beijing, the capital of China.
During the week-long festival, 16 films will compete for the Tiantan Award.
Among the nominated films are works such as “In Search of Lost Time” from China, “Anatolian Leopard” from Turkey, “Call Jane” from the USA and “Fast & Feel Love” from Thailand.
At the closing ceremony to be held on August 20, a total of 10 awards in different categories will find their owners.
During the festival, events and themed forums such as a film panorama and a film festival for university students will also be held.
